How to slow down to do more with Rick Bowers, President of TTI Success Insights
Improving your emotional intelligence is the most helpful way to improve mindfulness at work.
As part of my interview series, I had the pleasure of interviewing Rick Bowers. Rick is the President of TTI Success Insights and has worked to lead the development of assessments globally, expanding TTI SI’s reach to 90 countries and 40 languages.
What does that mean to him?
Slowing down to do more means that you invest the time in researching and understanding the problems surrounding your objective. That preparation gives you the perfect path through your objective.
How does that concept work for us?
This concept shows up at TTI SI every day. I was just telling our newest team member that she needs to pace herself in learning about our assessments. We have a natural language within our team, but trying to rush that learning process will only result in frustration. We also all have our Talent Insights reports up at our desks so we can adjust our own communication styles in small interactions. This helps everyone feel heard and considered.
What are we doing to help?
